Stephanie & Adam's Wedding

Over the weekend I photographed Stephanie & Adam's beautiful wedding at the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island. And guess what? They happened to share their wedding day with another special date–My birthday! And I couldn't have been more excited to spend this day photographing these amazing moments for a truly, wonderful couple.

This boating museum is located in a charming, seaside, Rhode Island town across the street from a beautiful marina. The weather forecast was switching between rain and clouds, but we lucked out with a cool, cloudy fall day. I can work with a rainy wedding day and make the most out of it, but I hate seeing the couple disappointed that their day can't be celebrated outdoors as they had hoped! Luckily Stephanie were Adam were able to have their outdoor ceremony overlooking the marina as planned, and it was absolutely beautiful! Guests quickly filled the seats as the bride and groom finished getting ready in the bridal suite.

Family and friends made their way down the long aisle until Stephanie and her Father finally appeared. I love these images of Adam gazing at his beautiful wife-to-be in the distance. During their ceremony, these two read the most heartfelt, personal vows to one another–Which definitely left me (and everyone else) a little teary-eyed. The happy couple then exchanged rings and shared an epic kiss before walking down the aisle hand-in-hand. They even had their loved ones blow bubbles into the aisle for their exit!

After some beautiful pictures inside the museum and outside on the boat docks (and meeting some hilarious fishermen who let us borrow their boat for photos!), it was onto the party! Stephanie and Adam's guests filled the huge reception tent overlooking the sea, as they were finally introduced as husband and wife. Everyone cheered as Adam carried his new wife onto the dance floor!
