I had such a great night partying with Meghan & Matt! They recently tied the knot in a beautiful destination wedding in Mexico, so this "wedding" was their big celebration back at home. They didn't have another ceremony, but we took lots of portraits with their family and friends. Only a handful of people could make it to the Mexican festivities, so this day was still really special for everyone. Meghan & Matt celebrated with their guests at the Providence G Ballroom in Providence, RI. This venue is one of the most beautiful city venues that I've ever seen. The ballroom itself is gorgeous–From the elegant, crystal chandeliers to the giant windows that drench the room in sunlight. Each table had a beautiful selection of glass vases with floating orchids and candles as well as an adorable blinged-out, numbered frame. The teal uplighting gave the room a colorful touch without taking away from the overall elegance. As you can see from the pictures below, everything matched with this teal, white, and blinged-out theme–Even Meghan's custom brooch bouquet. The custom dessert bar was also set up on the side and was stocked with the most wonderful goodies towards the end of the night. Amy's Apples is responsible for these incredible, delicious, and beautiful treats! We took our first pictures in the ballroom itself, but moved to the Providence G rooftop deck for some portraits with their bridesmaids, groomsmen, and parents. The sunny rooftop made the perfect spot for pictures and the tall Providence buildings made the most amazing backdrop. After the guests had arrived and the portraits were photographed, it was time for their grand, festive entrance. I think you can guess what theme they were going for! Meghan & Matt danced their way into the ballroom (after their bridal party) and went straight into their "first" dance. Afterwards, I took these two aside for a couple of outdoor city pictures as the sun was setting. These were probably some of my favorite images of the night and I was able to capture their love for each other so beautifully. The rest of their night was filled with dancing (the beach balls made an appearance) and celebrating alongside their large group of family and friends. They definitely brought the Mexican festivities to Providence! I'm so happy for these two and incredibly honored that they asked me to capture this celebration for them. Below are my favorite photos from this gorgeous evening. You can also click here to see their finished gallery. Congratulations again Meghan & Matt! |
