I'm so excited to share Lynne & Shaun's gallery from their July 16th brunch wedding at Bittersweet Farm in Westport, Rhode Island! They had such a beautiful celebration and I was lucky enough to be their wedding photographer for the afternoon. This was my first time photographing this wedding venue and I hope I did this gorgeous location justice! Their adorable decor and flower choices matched their rustic venue perfectly! Scents of baby's breath, lavender, and white roses filled the air and the bouquets contrasted perfectly against the bridesmaid's long, purple dresses. While Lynne was getting ready in the bridal suite, perfecting the final touches, she and her bridesmaids gazed out at the guests arriving for the outdoor ceremony. The ceremony space looked absolutely gorgeous under the warm summer sun. Shaun & Cameron (their son) waited for Lynne at the gazebo, as her father escorted her down the isle. Shaun's best man and father held Cam close-by as the two said their vows and exchanged rings. Shaun & Lynne were overjoyed as they hugged and kissed little Cam one more time before happily walking down the isle once again–This time hand-in-hand as husband & wife. Bittersweet Farms had the most beautiful outdoor spots for their dreamy portraits as well, which only added to their rustic inspired wedding day. I love how the white, grey, and lavender accents play off of the bright, green trees filling the background. Towards the end of our portrait time we used the rustic, grey siding on the venue itself to take more photos of the couple and bridesmaids. When the time came for their reception, Shaun & Lynne made their way down the antique stairs and the exposed beams gleamed as they danced their first dance together. It's always so wonderful to take pictures at this point in the wedding day. The couple's first dance is when I feel they can truly relax and enjoy living in the moment without worry. Every single first dance I look over at my husband Will (who's usually my wedding assistant) and think back to our first dance. It's truly an amazing moment and something I will never forget from my own big day. I hope that you'll enjoy a few of my favorite images below from their gorgeous wedding day.
