This past weekend I had the chance to meet and photograph the most wonderful couple! Lauren & Kyle contacted me a few months ago regarding their wedding day, and I couldn't have been more excited. They were completely different than the usual couple that I photograph and decided from the beginning that the typical, big wedding thing just wasn't for them. These two have the most perfect love story that all started while they were students at Brown University in Providence, RI. They now live across the country, but decided that Providence was the perfect place for them to tie the knot. After years of planning, the day was finally here, rain or shine!
Their intimate ceremony took place on Blackstone Boulevard in the Old Trolley Shelter–A unique stone structure surrounded by beautiful shrubs and trees, located just outside the busy city. A handful of close friends and family members filled the chairs as candles, succulents, and flowers adorned the makeshift, stone altar. After their beautiful ceremony and some portraits, we made a quick stop to Brown University to the same street where Lauren & Kyle first met and years later got engaged. Their journey together seemed to come full circle as they stood, hand-in-hand, on the same street where it all began.
I had such a wonderful time capturing these memories for you Lauren & Kyle–Thank you so much for letting me (and Will) share in your emotional, beautiful wedding day. I'm honored that you chose me to capture these special memories for you!
