Kristen and Tom's Wedding

“Every once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.”

This past Saturday I had the chance to photograph one of the most fun, gorgeous weddings of all time. Kristen & Tom have been planning their dream Disney wedding for a while now, and all of their hard work completely paid off! Every single detail was perfect–From the individual Disney-themed centerpieces (that Kristen painstakingly made by hand) to Tom's sharp Mickey tie clip. It truly felt like a day straight out of a storybook!

After getting ready at the hotel, it was time for a first-look before heading to Borderland State Park for some portraits. We decided to change it up and include their matching Mickey and Minnie balloons! How adorable are these two?! For our portrait time, Kristen really loved these dreamy, fall backgrounds–which only enhance their fairytale theme! They chose the most beautiful time of the year and the colors of the leaves were perfect.

After taking lots of pictures it was finally time for their ceremony. Kristen's dad walked her down the aisle–Can't you just see how incredibly happy they both are for this moment? After years and years of knowing each other (these two first met in kindergarten!), Kristen & Tom finally tied the knot. They said their vows, shared a kiss, and, for the very first time, walked hand-in-hand as husband and wife. After a very delicious cocktail hour (of course they needed a mac and cheese bar!), these two danced the night away at their beautiful reception.

​Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful and we're so glad that we could share in these special memories. It meant the world to us that I could photograph this incredible day for you two. Congratulations Kristen & Tom–Will & I wish you both a lifetime full of love and happiness!
