I had such a wonderful time celebrating with Jillian & Jacob at their beautiful wedding this past Saturday! I'm so glad that I had the chance to photograph this couple again after their snowy engagement session this February. The winter season is my absolute favorite (which is why my own wedding was in the winter as well!) and I couldn't get enough of their red and gold holiday theme. Kirkbrae Country Club was the perfect setting for this beautiful day–The only thing missing was the snow! After the girls were ready it was time to brave the chilly weather and take some pictures outside. Jill & Jake decided to have a first look and see each other before their ceremony, which was a definitely a special moment in the day. I love how his face lit up when he turned and saw Jill in her beautiful gown. After a few more pictures of the whole group together, we spent some time with the soon-to-be married couple and their adorable son Elliot. These three are the sweetest together and I loved how excited Elliot was to celebrate this day with them! After all of their outdoor pictures, we went inside to warm up before their ceremony. All of their guests quickly filled the room and Jill's Dad walked her down the aisle as the Christmas Canon played in the background. The two said their vows, shared a sweet first kiss, and everyone was ready to party! The reception ballroom was filled with icy blue uplighting and winter touches. I think Jill was most excited about the huge Christmas tree behind their beautiful sweetheart table! They even had customized ornaments made for each guest's wedding favor. Every detail of their day was absolutely perfect! Congratulations again Jill & Jake! We had such a wonderful time celebrating with you and we wish you the very best in your future together. Thank you so much for letting me capture these beautiful memories–I was honored to be your wedding photographer!
