Last weekend I had the chance to photograph the most beautiful wedding day for Jess & Jimmy. I met these two a few weeks back at their September engagement session and our personalities clicked instantly! Their wedding took place at the gorgeous Chamberlain Farm in Berkley, MA. From the second I drove up to the venue, I knew it would be a magical experience for this wonderful couple. Their ceremony was arranged in Chamberlain's breath-taking barn–We opened the huge, red barn doors to find dozens of white chairs organized beneath the rustic, exposed beams. After Jess, her mother, bridesmaids, and flower girl finished getting ready in the bridal suite, it was finally time for the I do's! Jimmy and his groomsmen made their way down the isle and stood at the end in anticipation. Their guests stood with excitement as Jess and her brother made their way into the barn. Her smile really says it all! Their ceremony was sweet and filled with tons of personal stories thanks to Jess' bridesmaid who was also their officiant. They even had a custom engraved box with written letters to one another and a bottle of vodka to open for their first married fight. Jess & Jimmy then exchanged rings, shared a beautiful kiss, and were finally pronounced Mr and Mrs! Their family and friends erupted in cheers as they ran down the aisle, hand-in-hand.
After the guests went into the reception space for cocktail hour, it was time for some outdoor portraits. As the sun set, we made our way around Chamberlain and found some incredible spots for photos. This venue has every possible location–A cornfield for those perfect fall vibes, a beautiful spot overlooking the water, a huge open field, and gorgeous flowers throughout the grounds. This venue really was a dream to photograph! It was a wonderful location and Jess & Jimmy made it incredibly easy for great pictures (as you can tell, they're naturals!). I was thrilled to finally photograph this big day for this amazing couple. They had the most warm family and friends and it was an honor to capture these memories.
Thank you so much for letting me celebrate these once-in-a-lifetime moments. With each wedding that I photograph, I realize how lucky I am to tag along on one of the most important days in a person's life. I hope that in 5, 10, 20, 40 years from now, you'll look back on these images and smile remembering the unconditional love in your hearts on this day. Congratulations again you two! Wishing you all the best in your future together and husband and wife!
