Brianna & Luke's Wedding

This weekend I photographed the most gorgeous, elegant winter wedding. Brianna & Luke tied the knot at The Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, RI. I couldn't get over how perfect the mansion is–From the royal bridal suite, to the breathtaking chapel, this beautiful location has absolutely everything you dream about as a Wedding Photographer! And the best part? It's been beautifully decorated for the Christmas season! I couldn't get over the impeccable decorations filling every single inch of the mansion–inside and out.

I met Brianna & Luke there a few months ago to see the venue in person and see where their big day would actually take place. That was my very first time visiting the Aldrich Mansion and I could see right away why they chose it! As soon as I met with Brianna & Luke and chatted more about their wedding, I knew that they would be a joy to work with and photograph. Brianna had told me during our meeting that she wanted her big day to be elegant and wintery without being overly Christmas-y–A thought that I totally understand! Being a winter bride myself, I know the struggle of winter wedding decorations that seem too cheesy or festive. What Brianna and Luke achieved with their decorations was absolutely perfect. I loved their use of gold, sparkly bridesmaids dresses and classy, elegant accents. For her bouquet, she chose a huge arrangement filled with roses and greenery. The bridesmaids bouquets added that small pop of red to fit in with the holiday season. Her jewelry was minimal, but completely classic and timeless (how can you go wrong with white pearls?!). All of these little details of the day were so thought out and fit the day perfectly–Even down to the gingerbread cookie station, that brought a little of that holiday cheer to dessert. 

Congratulations again Brianna & Luke! Thank you so much for letting me celebrate with you on this wonderful day–It was an honor to capture such beautiful memories for you two. I wish you a lifetime full of love and happiness and gingerbread cookies!
